INTRODUCTION

Alex Mihalko is a product designer and visual artist based in New York. As a recent graduate from the UCLA School of Arts and Architecture with a Painting and Drawing concentration, I am currently leveraging my skills and background in Visual Art to Product / UX Design.

Much like design, visual art is a practice rooted in problem solving, communication, and storytelling. Whether on canvas or in wireframes, I effectively organize visual information to improve people’s daily lives.

When I am not designing, I am probably drawing or painting. When I am not painting or drawing, I am probably designing. On occasion, I will throw in a trip to a museum, gallery, or somewhere I have never seen before.
